There have been quite a few KPOP singles that have been released in the past few weeks I’ve been excited about. I finally got around to listening to some and these songs. I am sharing my thoughts on some of these singles. The songs I’ll be discussing are:
- NCT Dream x HRVY- Don’t Need Your Love
- BTS Jin- Tonight
- BTS Jin, Jimin & Jungkook (Feat. Charli XCX)- Dream Glow
- Sungwoon (feat. Gaeko)- Riding
- Eric Nam-Runaway
NCT Dream X HRVY- Don’t Need Your Love
I love this song. I was not familiar with HRVY before this video. I’m very impressed by HRVY. I will look into other songs he has released. DNYL is such a good SM station song. I wish this would be a promoted song on music shows. The vocals for the song are excellent. Renjun and Chenle continue to blow me away with their incredible vocals. Jisung is growing up, and his deep vocals hit me. Jeno and Jaemin’s rapping was so good as well. The song has such a summer vibe. The MV is very well done. I will be blasting this along with NCT 127’s We are Superhuman album this summer. The more I listen to DNYL, the more I love it.

Jin- Tonight
The song is relaxing. It’s a beautiful song with great vocals. The lyrics are heartbreaking. I wish the song were longer. An MV would be nice as well. I’m grateful for the translators who posted the English lyrics so quickly. I hope this song will get a real release to iTunes or Spotify in the future so I can add it to my playlists. Love the song.

BTS (Feat. Charli XCX)- Dream Glow
I’ve listened to it a few times now. I wanted to love the song, but I can’t say that I do. Unfortunately, this song doesn’t do anything for me. It’s an okay song. I usually love this style, so this is a real bummer. There are some good moments but overall not to my taste. I’m very bummed because I was hopeful it’d like it the more I listened to it.

Sungwoon (feat. Gaeko)- Riding
I think Sungwoon has a lovely voice. I can get lost in it. He puts me in a good mood with his songs. It’s going to be a sweet summer song. I love the lyrics of this song a lot. Sungwoon keeps blowing me away with his releases. I wish there were an MV for this song. I’d say that this is a song to add to a playlist.

Eric Nam- Runaway
I had to include this song. I just love it so much. I love the summer vibe of the song. Eric’s vocals sound so good. It puts me in a great mood whenever I listen to it. I wish he had released more music. The MV for the song is excellent as well. It looks like the two had a great time filming it. I love seeing him happy too. This song was instantly added to my playlist on first listen.
